Learning process is a very important thing that should be concern in education. The quality of education in the school can not be separated from teaching and learning process. This research has purpose to know the influence of prezi as media in problem based learning to the studying motivation of vocational high school (SMK) students. This research was held in SMK Tlogosari Semarang in April 12^th – May 10^th 2017. The research used Quasi Experimental Design. The population of this research was all of the students of SMK Tlogosari grade X in academic year 2016/2017. The sampling of the research used cluster random sampling technique. The sample of the research was taken from two classes, grade X TKR 4 as experiment class that used prezi media in problem based learning and grade X TKR 1 s control class that used lecture method. The technique of collecting the data used documentation and questionnaire.

Based on the result of t test analysis right side in motivation score after learning process was gotten the result t_calculate > t_table. So, H₀ is refused and H_a is accepted. Using of prezi media in problem based learning in the experiment class was gotten the result of gain test <g> normalized 0,54 and in using lecture method in the control class got the result of gain test <g> normalized 0,44.  The two score of gain test < 0,70, so the increase of students motivation in study is average category. In addition, the average score of pre-learning questionnaires in the  experiment class was 45% and the average score of post-learning questionnaire was 76%. For the control class, the result of the average score of pre-learning questionnaire was 45% and post-learning scores was 76%. The conclusion is using of prezi media in problem based learning enhanced study motivation of grade X SMK Tlogosari Semarang students.
