ABSTRAK

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas V khususnya nilai Ulangan Tengah Semester 1 dan belum diterapkan Keterampilan Proses Sains. Jenis Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan bentuk desain Pre Experimental Design yang digunakan adalah bentuk One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa SDN Bawang Kecamatan Blado Kabupaten Batang tahun ajaran 2016/2017. Sampel yang diambil adalah 39 siswa kelas V. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data penelitian setelah mendapatkan perlakuan menunjukkan bahwa Pendekatan Saintifik Efektif terhadap Keterampilan Proses Sains sehingga nilai rata-rata siswa dapat meningkat. Hasil belajar IPA yang awalnya memiliki rata-rata 66,66 menjadi 82,30. Pada aspek afektif mengalami peningkatan rata-rata dari 9,56 kemudian 10,93 lalu menjadi 11,68. Sedangkan rata-rata pada Keterampilan Proses Sains dari 60 lalu 70 kemudian menjadi 80, maka ada perbedaan rata-rata Hasil Belajar IPA setelah menggunakan Pendekatan Saintifik.

ABSTRACT

This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of science students of class V in particular the value of Deuteronomy Central Semester 1 and have not applied Skills Process of Science. This type of research is quantitative research with Pre Experimental Design design that used is form of One Group PretestPosttest Design. The research population is all students of Bawang Elementary School Blado District Batang in the academic year 2016/2017. The sample taken is 39 students of class V. Based on the analysis of research data after getting treatment showed that the Scientific Approach Effective to Skills Process Science so that the average value of students can increase. The science learning outcomes initially had an average of 66.66 to 82.30. On the affective aspect experienced an average increase from 9.56 then 10.93 to 11.68. While the average on the Skill of Science Process from 60 then 70 then to 80, then there is an average difference in the Results of Science Learning after using the Scientific Approach.
