Abstrak

Tujuan yang hendak dicapai dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui keefektifan model cooperative integrated reading and composition dilihat dari hasil belajar kognitif dan keterampilan kerjasama siswa kelas V SD Negeri Gayamsari 01. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif eksperimen dengan menggunakan dua kelas sebagai kelas kontrol dan eksperimen. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan True Experimental Design  dengan jenis  Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah sampling Non Probability Sampling. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui observasi, dokumentasi, dan tes. Hasil analisis perhitungan untuk nilai rata-rata pretest adalah kelas kontrol adalah 67,27 sedangkan kelas eksperimen 71,62. Untuk nilai posttest kelas kontrol dengan nilai rata-rata 67,27 dan kelas eksperimen sebesar 81,33. Berdasarkan uji normalitas nilai pretest kelas eksperimen 0,09<0,190, untuk kelas kontrol 0,155<0,190. Artinya nilai tersebut berdistribusi normal. Untuk nilai posttest kelas kontrol memiliki thitung 0,154<0,190, kelas eksperimen dengan thitung 0,17<0,190, nilai posttest tersebut berdistribusi normal. Sedangkan pada keterampilan kerjasama kelas kontrol memiliki thitung sebesar 0,106<0,190 dan kelas kontrol memiliki thitung 0,116<0,190. Untuk uji homogenitas posttest nilai Fhitung yang diperoleh adalah 1,12569<2,07331 yang berarti kedua kelompok mempunyai varians yang sama. Dari hasil uji-t diperoleh thitung sebesar 3,05>2,019 maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima jadi nilai pretest lebih kecil dibanding nilai posttest. Sedangkan pada nilai keterampilan kerjasama t hitung 2,14199>2,019 maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa model Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition efektif terhadap hasil belajar kognitif dan keterampilan kerjasama IPS kelas V SD Negeri Gayamsari 01.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the effectiveness of cooperative integrated reading and composition model seen from cognitive learning result and skill of cooperation of class V student Gayamsari 01 State Elementary School. The type of this research is quantitative experimental research using two classes as control and experiment class. This research design uses True Experimental Design with Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design type. Sampling technique used is sampling Non Probability Sampling. Research data obtained through observation, documentation, and tests. The result of calculation analysis for pretest mean value is control class is 67,27 while experiment class is 71,62. For posttest grade of control class with average value 67,27 and experiment class equal to 81,33. Based on test of normality of pretest grade of experiment class 0,09 <0,190, for control class 0,155 <0,190. This means that the value is normally distributed. For the posttest grade the control class has a tcount of 0.154 <0.190, the experimental class with tcount 0.17 <0.190, the posttest value is normally distributed. Whereas in the skill of cooperation of control class have t count equal to 0,106 <0,190 and control class have titung 0,116 <0,190. For the posttest homogeneity test the calculated Fcount is 1.12569 <2.07331, which means that both groups have the same variance. From t-test results obtained t count of 3.05> 2.019 then Ho is rejected and Ha accepted so pretest value is smaller than posttest value. While the value of skill cooperation t count 2.14199> 2.019 then Ho is rejected and Ha accepted. This shows that the model of Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition effective on the cognitive learning outcomes and skills of IPS class V SD Gayamsari 01.
