Media Pop-Up Book Berkarakter untuk Meningkatkan Interpersonal Skills

Science lesson emphasizes the understanding of concepts, needs a learning medium to stimulate students to communicate and interact with peers. The use of instructional media is very necessary in learning to improve interpersonal skills of students. So that learning is not only centered on the technical ability of students but also gives freedom to students to express opinions and communicate between friends in groups in solving problems. The purpose of this study is to determine whether the pop-up book media character can potentially increase students’ interpersonal skills or not. The research method used in this research and development (R&D). Validation test was conducted by two physics lectures of PGRI University of Semarang. Expert 1 validation results with an average percentage gain of 82,19%, expert 2 validation with an average percentage gain of 88,14%. Based on the research, it can be concluded that the learning media of pop-up book character which is the development of pop-up physics book is feasible to be used as a medium of science teaching in school and can potentially increase interpersonal skills of students.
