THE PERFORMANCE OF CENTRAL JAVA PROVINCE BASIC EDUCATION IN 2009

Abstract


Performance or working outcome is the product which is achieved in finishing the work for a certain period. Based on the above definition, it means that the performance is the product note which is achieved or constructing achievement for Elementary School and Junior High School. The Elementary School and Junior High School performance are measured from three education policy components as shown in strategic plan 2010-2015. The purpose of classroom performance holding is to identify how far the carrying out of education construction has been achieved. The real form of achievement is the distribution and education access. By using that Central Java Province data, it shows that the education distribution has not been achieved yet. It is because there is still disparity 98.75% has only reached 74.05%, education access performance has reached 93.36%, efficient performance has reached 91,96%, whereas classroom performance has only been reached 85,43%. Because of such condition, it is suggested that the education construction must be priority, i.e. the education quality performance must be fixed especially the teachers and education facility, for instance the library. If the quality performance can be raised, and so can the access and education efficiency; it is possible that the basic education performance will go up.
