Abstract


This study aims to determine the effect of herbal powder as a feed additive with intermittent lighting to lower uric acid and cholesterol. DOC broiler study subjects unsex tail number 72. Treatment of this study consisted of H1C1 (feed additive herbal ginger, pencahayaan1L: 3D), H1C3 (herbal ginger, lighting 2L: 2D), H1C4 (herbal ginger, lighting 12L: 0D), H2C1 (herbs turmeric, lighting 1L: 3D), H2C3 (herbs turmeric, lighting 2L: 2D, and H2C4 (herbs turmeric, lighting 12L: 0D), with four replications. Design of experiment is completely randomized design (CRD), the experimental results were analyzed by ANOVA followed by Duncan test. the results of this study are there was no effect of herbal powder as a feed additive with intermittent lighting of the uric acid and cholesterol (P>0,05).
