Abstract


The purpose of this study is to determine the extent to GeoGebra application usage through mathematics education can improve student learning outcomes III Elementary School Sepakung 03. Type a quantitative research study design pretest-posttest control group design. The study population was all students of class III Elementary School District 03 Sepakung Semarang, with samples of class III A as an experimental class numbered 40 students and class III C as the control classes totaling 40 students were determined by means of random sampling techniques. Data collection techniques with methods of documentation, test methods and methods of observation.Analysis of the instruments used are validity, reliability, distinguishing features and level of difficulty. Data analysis techniques in this study using the initial analysis using normality test, homogeneity and the final analysis using T-test of the right side. Results of research learning using GeoGebra application can improve learning outcomes third grade students of SD Negeri 03 Semarang District Sepakung on Math Fractions material, which initially had an average value of 55.4, the average value becomes 79.4. Results of analysis using T-test values ​​obtained t = 4.796> table = 2.000 so that there is the influence of the average result of learning mathematics that are using GeoGebra application.
