PENGEMBANGAN PERMAINAN MATEMATIKA BERBASIS PROBLEM BASED LEARNING (PBL) TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN SISWA

Abstract


Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan media Permainan Matematika berbasis Problem Based Learning (PBL) sehingga menghasilkan bahan ajar yang valid/layak dan efektif digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran di kelas. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian Research and Development. Penelitian pengembangan menggunakan modifikasi model ADDIE dan untuk menguji keefektifan produk melalui tes uji coba dengan desain eksperimen Posttest Only Control Design. Hasil validasi ahli materi diperoleh persentase 87,62%, validasi ahli media 94,17% dan angket tanggapan siswa 88,49%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rancangan bahan ajar berdasarkan penilaian para ahli dan siswa, hasilnya adalah berkriteria baik. Jadi bahan ajar tersebut valid untuk di implementasikan. Hasil uji kefektifan menunjukkan, kemampuan matematis kelas eksperimen lebih baik dari kelas kontrol dengan , yaitu , maka Ho ditolak jadi kemampuan matematis siswa yang menggunakan Permainan Matematika berbasis PBL lebih baik daripada siswa yang menggunakan pembelajaran dengan metode konvensional. Dan hasil uji ketuntasan juga menunjukkan, , yaitu , maka Ho ditolak yang artinya ketuntasan belajar siswa yang menggunakan Permainan Matematika berbasis PBL lebih baik daripada siswa yang menggunakan pembelajaran dengan metode konvensional.

Abstract

This research aimed to develop Math games based Problem Based Learning (PBL) media to produce a valid teaching materials / feasible and effective be used in the learning process in the classroom. This type of research was Research and Development. Research using a modified model of ADDIE development and to test the effectiveness of the product through test trials with experimental design Posttest Only Control Design. Validation results obtained by material experts was 87.62%, media expert validation 94.17% and 88.49% obtained from students' questionnaire responses. The results showed that the design of teaching materials based on the assessment of experts and students, the result was in good criteria. So it's a valid teaching materials to implement. The test results demonstrate effectiveness, experimental class of mathematical ability was better than the control class. with tobs> ttable, ie 3.2242> 1.68, then Ho was rejected so the mathematical ability of students using Math Games based PBL better than students who used the learning by conventional methods. And the thoroughness of test results also show, tobs> ttable, ie 5.5074> 2.05, then Ho was rejected, which means mastery learning students using Math Games based PBL better than students who use the learning by conventional methods.
