Latar belakang yang mendorong penelitian ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar mata pelajaran matematika khususnya materi perkalian bilangan. Penyebab rendahnya hasil belajar tersebut adalah metode pembelajaran yang diterapkan kurang bervariasi dan masih bersifat abstrak sehingga siswa kesulitan memahami dan menguasai materi pembelajaran yang disampaikan. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah Bagaimana keefektifan jarimatika bagi hasil belajar materi perkalian bilangan pada siswa kelas  II, SDN Genting 02 Kecamatan Jambu Kabupaten Semarang?. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan keefektifan jarimatika bagi hasil belajar materi perkalian bilangan pada siswa kelas  II, SDN Genting 02 Kecamatan Jambu Kabupaten Semarang. Jenis Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dalam bentuk True Eksperimental Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas II SD Negeri Genting 02 dan SD Negeri Genting 01 Tahun Ajaran 2016/2017  yang diambil dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh melalui tes, dokumentasi, dan observasi. Berdasarkan Uji-t Berdasarkan hasil di atas diketahui bahwa nilai t hitung sebesar 2.11 < t tabel (2.00), hal ini menunjukan bahwa tidak ada nilai beda pada nilai pretest antara kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen maka dapat disimpulkan Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima yaitu bahwa teknik jarimatika efektif bagi peningkatan hasil belajar perkalian yang menghasilkan bilangan dua angka. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik jarimatika efektif bagi hasil belajar matematika materi perkalian bilangan bulat yang menghasilkan dua angka pada siswa kelas II SD Negeri Genting 02 Semester II Tahun Ajaran 2016/2017. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini saran yang dapat disampaikan adalah Guru hendaknya senantiasa berinovasi dengan mengembangkan teknik-teknik lain yang membuat siswa dapat memahami konsep pembelajaran.

The encouraging background of this research is the low learning outcomes of mathematics subjects, especially the matter of number multiplication. The cause of the low learning outcomes is that the applied learning method is less varied and still abstract so that students have difficulty understanding and mastering the learning materials that are delivered. The formulation of the problem in this research is how the effectiveness of the fifth for the results of learning the matter of multiplication of numbers in the second grade students, SDN Genting 02 Subdistrict Jambu Semarang regency ?. The purpose of this study is to describe the effectiveness of the fifth for the results of learning matter multiplication of numbers in grade 2 students, SDN Genting 02 District Jambu Semarang regency. This type of research is quantitative research in the form of True Experimental Design. Population in this research is all student of class II of State Elementary School Genting 02 and Elementary School Genting 01 Year Ajisi 2016/2017 which is taken by using purposive sampling technique. The data in this research is obtained through test, documentation, and observation. Based on the t-test Based on the above results note that the value of t arithmetic of 2.11 <t table (2.00), it shows that there is no difference value on the pretest between the control class and experimental class hence can be concluded Ho rejected and Ha accepted that the technique effective for improving multiplication learning outcomes that produce two numbers. The conclusion in this research is effective fingerprinting technique for the result of learning mathematics material multiplication of integers that produce two numbers in the second graders of Genting Secondary School 02 Semester II of the academic year 2016/2017. Based on the results of this study suggestions that can be submitted is the teacher should always innovate by developing other techniques that make students can understand the concept of learning.
