KEEFEKTIFAN MODEL MAKE A MACTH BERBANTU MEDIA MIND MAPPING TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELAS V SDN KARANGTEMPEL SEMARANG

Abstract


This research is based on the lack of variation in learning. So it is difficult for students to absorb the material received especially in the IPS lesson which consists of many materials. Problems in this research is how the effectiveness of Make a Macth learning model help Mind Mapping media to the students' results on the subjects of social science class V SDN Karangtempel Semarang? The goal to be achieved in this research is to know the effectiveness of Make a Macth model help media mind mapping on student learning outcomes in subjects IPS class V SDN Karangtempel Semarang. This type of research is quantitative. Population in this research is student of SDN Karangtempel Semarang. The sample taken is class V using non probability sampling technique of saturated sampling. The data in this study were obtained through pretest and posttest test with multiple choice questions. Based on the results of the research data analysts obtained preliminary test or pre test conducted by the researcher got the average data of class 62,69 there are 18 students not complete or not yet reaching KKM learning which amount 75 of 26 student. Then the class is given the treatment of IPS learning with the model Make a Macth assisted media Mind Mapping. Make a macth learning model with Mind Mapping media is a model that is done with competition and game elements. The result of learning obtained by students after the treatment (post test value) showed that class V obtained mean of 82,88 with complete student 24 from 26 student able to reach KKM that is equal to 75. In final analysis calculation using t test is obtained if α = 0,05 and db = N-1 = 26-1 = 25 obtained ttable = 2,060 and tcount = 4,880. If thitung> ttable, then Ho is rejected and Ha accepted, so the average post test result is greater than pre test. Thus it can be concluded that the learning outcomes using the Make a Mcth model help Mind Mapping media effectively. Suggestions that researchers can convey to elementary school teachers should use some appropriate and varied learning models that are appropriate to the material to be conveyed in order to create an active student and achievement one of them is Make a Macth model assisted media Mind Mapping.
