Abstract


Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi karena kurangnya kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita dalam pembelajaran matematika. Hal ini disebabkan karena kurangnya pemahaman siswa dalam menelaah soal dan menuliskan jawaban dari soal cerita. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah apakah model pembelajaran Numbered Heads Together (NHT) berbantu media dakota efektif terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa SD? Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui model Numbered Heads Together (NHT) efektif terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa SD. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian eksperimen quasi experimental design dengan bentuk nonequivalent control group design. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV SDN Semampir 01 Reban Batang dan kelas IV SDN Semampir 02 Reban Batang tahun pelajaran 2017/2018. Sampel yang diambil adalah 40 siswa, 20 siswa kelas IV SDN Semampir 01 Reban Batang dan 20 siswa kelas IV SDN Semampir 02 Reban Batang dengan menggunakan teknik nonprobability sampling dengan pengambilan sampling menggunakan sampling jenuh. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh melalui tes. Hasil analisis dengan uji t diketahui thitung > ttabel (3,1720>2,0243) maka Ha diterima. Jadi, model pembelajaran Numbered Heads Together (NHT) berbantu media dakota efektif terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa SD. Diperoleh rata-rata uji ketuntasan klasikal (KBK) dari 30%-95% tuntas pada kelas eksperimen dan ketuntasan klasikal (KBK) 35%-80% tuntas pada pada kelas kontrol, terdapat peningkatan yang lebih tinggi pada kelas eksperimen daripada kelas kontrol. Kesimpulannya bahwa model pembelajaran Numbered Heads Together (NHT) berbantu media dakota efektif terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa SD. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini saran yang dapat disampaikan adalah supaya model pembelajaran Numbered Heads Together (NHT) berbantu media dakotadapat digunakan sebagai salah satu alternatif guru dalam mengajar.

This research is motivated because of the lack of ability of students in solving the story problem in learning mathematics. This is due to the lack of understanding of students in studing the problem and write down the answers from the story. Problems in this research is whether the model of learning Numbered Heads Together (NHT) assisted media dakota effective on the mathematical communication ability of elementary school students? The purpose of this research is to know the model of Numbered Heads Together (NHT) effective to students mathematical communication ability of SD. This type of research uses experimental quasi experimental design research method with nonequivalent control group design. The population of the study were all fourth grade students of SDN Semampir 01 Reban Batang and all fourth grade students of SDN Semampir 02 Stem Burden year 2017/2018. Samples taken were 40 students, 20 students of grade IV SDN Semampir 01 Reban Batang and 20 students of grade IV SDN Semampir 02 Reban Batang using nonprobability sampling technique with sampling sampling using saturated sampling. The data in this study was obtained through the test. Result of analysis with t test known t count > t table (3,1720> 2.0243) hence Ha accepted. Thus, the model of learning Numbered Heads Together (NHT) assisted media dakota effective on the mathematical communication ability of elementary students. Obtained average classical completeness test (KBK) of 30% -95% complete in experimental class and 35% -80% complete classical completeness (KBK) complete in the control class, there is a higher increase in the experimental class than the control class. The conclusion is that the model of learning Numbered Heads Together (NHT) assisted media dakota effectively to the mathematical communication ability of elementary school students. Based on the results of this study suggestions that can be delivered is that the model of learning Numbered Heads Together (NHT) assisted media dakotad can used as an alternative teacher in teaching.
