Abstract

Gita Nur Pujiastuti. NPM 13120103 "The Influence of Learning Methods SQ3R Indonesian Subjects On Intensive Reading Skills In Class III Elementary Students of Kalicari 02 Semarang". The encouraging background of this research is the ability of students to read so that the understanding of the material is still low seen from the low learning outcomes that still have not reached KKM (Minimum Exhaustiveness Criteria). This is due to the variations that teachers do in learning. The purpose of this research is to know how Indonesian language learning to students intensive reading ability. This type of research is quantitative research in the form of Pre-Experimental Design with type One Group PretestPosttest. Based on pretest or pretest averaged result of 70,5 after given by using learning method SQ3R average student posttest that is 80,85. Students who complete the KKM as many as 16 students from the total number of students is 20 students. The unfinished KKM is 4 students. analysis of normality data with Ltabel = 0,190, obtained initial normality with L0 = 0,141 and final normality L0 = 0,132 with result H0 received data coming from normal distribution. Further calculation t arithmetic t greater than the t table (6.394> 2.024) then H0 rejected. It can be said that SQ3R learning method overstated the ability of intensive language on the subjects of Indonesian language Class III student SD N Kalicari 02 Semarang
