Abstract

The problem of learning in the classroom is in the learning activity, the teacher has not fully involve the students in the learning, so that the students get less chance to be active and bored in following the lesson, the selection of lesson model is less appropriate so that influence on the process of teaching and learning activities, still under KKM. The formulation of this research problem is the Group Investigation study model assisted by effective matching board media on the learning outcomes of IPS students of grade IV SDN 03 Sragi Pekalongan ?. The purpose of this research is to know the effectiveness of Group Investigation learning model assisted by media matching board toward the result of IPS learning of fourth grade students of SDN 03 Sragi Pekalongan. This type of research is quantitative. Methods of experimental research. The research design is true experimental design. With posttest only control design type. The population of the study were all the fourth grade students of SDN 03 Sragi Pekalongan, the samples were all the fourth grade students and the sampling technique used was nonprobability sampling. Data analysis technique used hypothesis test two sample t-test. The result of statistical analysis with t-test is obtained 4,633 and with significance level 5% is 2,021, so and rejected or accepted. Thus, it is concluded that the use of Group Investigation learning model is assisted by effective media matching board on IPS learning outcomes of fourth grade students of SDN 03 Sragi Pekalongan.
