Abstrak

Latar belakang yang mendorong penelitian ini adalah 1) siswa mengalami kesulitan pada materi yang berhubungan pengerjaan operasi hitung, 2) suasana pembelajaran di dalam kelas terlihat kurang aktif.3)hasil belajar matematika masih rendah, 4) kurangnya minat siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika. Masalah yang dirumuskan dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimanakah keefektifan model Snowball Throwing berbantu media Papan Pengurangan terhadap hasil belajar Matemtaika tentang pengurangan bilangan bulat pada siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 3 Pelang Tahun Ajaran 2016/2017. Tujuan yang hendak dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui keefektifan model snowball throwing berbantu media papan pengurangn terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 3 Pelang Tahun Ajaran 2016/2017. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dalam bentuk Pre-Experimental Design dengan desain One Group Pretest Posttest Design.Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 3 Pelang dengan jumlah siswa 28.Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh melalui tes, dokumentasi dan obseravasi. Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh dari Pretest dan Posttest. Hasil analisis akhir yang telah dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji t menunjukkan bahwa hasil thitung> ttabel yaitu 4,498> 2,048 diperoleh thitung = 4,498 dengan db = 28-1 = 27 pada taraf signifikan a = 5% diperoleh ttabel = 2,048, karena thitung> ttabel maka H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran snowball throwing berbantu media papan pegurangan efektif terhadap hasil belajar Matemtika siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 3 Pelang Kecamatan Mayong Kabupaten Jepara Tahun Ajaran 2016/2017.

Abstract

The backgrounds that encourage this research are 1) the students have difficulty in the material related to the operation of the counting operation, 2) the learning atmosphere in the classroom looks less active.3) the learning result of mathematics is still low, 4) the lack of interest of students in learning mathematics. The problem formulated in this research is how is the effectiveness of Snowball Throwing model assisted by media of Reduction Board to Matemtaika learning result about the reduction of integer in fourth grade students of SD Negeri 3 Pelang Tahun Tearan 2016/2017.  The objective to be achieved in this research is to know the effectiveness of snowball throwing model assisted media board deductions on the result of learning mathematics of fourth grade students of SD Negeri 3 Pelang Tahun Ajaran 2016/2017. This type of research is quantitative research in the form of Pre-Experimental Design with the design of One Group Pretest Posttest Design. The subject of this research is the fourth grade students of SD Negeri 3 Pelang with the number of students 28. The data in this research is obtained through test, documentation and obseravasi. The results of this study were obtained from Pretest and Posttest. Result of final analysis which have been done by using t test show that result of tcount> ttable that is 4,498> 2,048 obtained tcount = 4,498 with db = 28-1 = 27 at significant level a = 5% obtained ttable = 2,048, because thitung> ttabel then H0 Rejected and Ha accepted, so it can be concluded that the model of learning snowball throwing assisted the media board effective reduction of learning outcomes Matemtika fourth graders Elementary School 3 Pelang District Mayong Jepara District Teaching Year 2016/2017.
