Abstract


Learning model is a very important thing that should be concern in teaching and learning process. The quality of education in the school can not be separated from learning model. Discovery learning model is one of the learning models of physics which guide the students to discover new things, the teacher provides the questions which can stimulate students’creativity and direct students to discover new knowledge. The research to know are there any effect of discovery learning model help student worksheets to learning achievement in electromagnetic wave. This research done in MA Taqwal ILah semarang on April until May 2017. The method used in this research is Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design and the technique of sampling is cluster random sampling. Instrument were used in this research are test instrument which multiple choise. Based on data analysis, the result obtained that there is a significant effect of discovery learning model help student worksheets to achievement learning in electromagneti wave. With the sample of X-1 as experimental group and X-2 as control group both class are given the same pretest and posttest. The research showed that there differences in the achievement learning students, it can be see from one side hypothesis test between the experimental group received discovery learning model help student worksheet and control group that gets learning using method t obtained > t table, namely 2,25 > 1,67so Ho rejected and Ha received. The research show be able effect of discovery learning model help student worksheet learning achievement in electromagnetic wave.
