Abstract


Urgently in studies of the proliferation tutoring school outside learning guidance that provides the equal subject matter services as the school, whereas it was contrary to the UU RI No. 20/2003. This study aimed to determine the profile of student motivation in following the learning in the school. This research was conducted qualitative naturalistic, to subject is four junior high school students who attend physic tutoring in either group and privately. Result from the Study showed that subjects felt physics learning is considered difficult so that tutor is preferred. Subjects motivated to attend the guidance of learning on the basis of extrinsic motivational encouragement because the encouragement of parents and invite friends. Along with motivation intrinsic because of the desire got the help of learning to better understand the physics and get a good value. Another thing that motivated students were because of a more intensive relationship between teachers and students, thus allowing the subject to convey something without feeling awkward, and more passion. The student’s motivation profile following the school outside guidance was also influenced by the place of study, which could provide good and varied facilities to create students' comfort in learning.
