Abstract


This study aims to determine the increasing application of demonstration methods and independent tasks on learning kinetic gas theory of student learning outcomes. This research is a true-experimental design with one group pretest-posttest design which is implemented only one cycle. The subjects of this research are students of class XI IPA 3 SMA Negeri Pajangan academic year 2017/2018 which is devoted to the subject matter of kinetic gas theory as many as 27 students. Data were obtained through observation, cognitive tests (pretest and posttest), and documentation. Data analysis technique used is descriptive quantitative analysis using SPSS 16.0. The results of the analysis and discussion can be concluded that the existence of an increase in the implementation of demonstration methods and independent tasks on learning kinetic gas theory of student learning outcomes.
