Penelitian ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar PKn siswa yaitu nilai ulangan tengah semester memperoleh 62,15. Guru juga menjelaskan bahwa pada saat penyampaian materi menggunakan model ceramah dan media yang ada dalam buku paket (BSE). Pembelajaran dengan model tersebut hasil belajar siswa kurang memuaskan yaitu masih di bawah KKM (70). Peneliti mencoba
menerapkan model dan media yang berbeda, dengan harapan ada perubahan hasil belajar yang meningkat dalam penggunaan media dan model tersebut. Model yang akan digunakan dalam penelitian tersebut adalah Course Review Horay berbantu media teka-teki silang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen menggunakan Pre
Experimental Design yang digunakan adalah One-Group Pretes-Posttest Desain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa presentase klasikal pretest (25%), sedangkan pada presentase klasikal posttest (100%), serta berdasarkan hasil uji t diketahui thitung lebih dari ttabel (9,515 > 1,68957). Kesimpulan bahwa model
pembelajaran Course Review Horay berbantu media teka-teki silang efektif terhadap hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract: This research is the low students civic education the result of learning that is the value of test the middle of the semester to obtain 62,15. The teacher also explained that at the time of giving the material using a model of a discourse and the media that there is in the book package (BSE). Learning of the model is the result of learning student less satisfying is still under the KKM (70). The research trying to apply the models and different media with the expectation of no change learning outcomes increase in the use of media and the model. The model who will be used in the research is Course Review Horay to media crossword
puzzle. This type of research is experimental using a Pre Experimental Design used is One-Group Pretest Posttest Design. The result of research showed that the
percentage of classical pretest (25%), while the percentage of classical posttest (100%), as based on the results of the t test is know t count more than t tabel (9,515 > 1, 68957). The conclusion of the learning model Course Review Horay to media crossword puzzle is effective against the result of learning students.
