Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan model concept sentence berbantu media video pembelajaran terhadap kemampuan menulis karangan sederhana siswa kelas III SDN Pandeanlamper 05 Semarang. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan pre-experimental design group pretest-posttest. Populasi yang digunakan adalah seluruh sampel yakni 25 siswa kelas III tahun pelajaran genap 2017/2018 dengan menggunakan teknik non probability sampling dengan jenis sampling jenuh. Penelitian ini hanya meneliti hasil menulis karangan sederhana siswa. Data didapatkan dari hasil belajar pretest dan posttest dan dianalisis menggunakan uji normalitas dan uji t. Pada mata pelajara Bahasa Indonesia KKM yang ditetapkan yaitu 70. Data hasil penelitian diperoleh persentase ketuntasan belajar pada pretest yaitu sebesar 52%, sedangkan persentase ketuntasan belajar sebesar posttest 80%. Pada analisis akhir perhitungan menggunakan uji t diperoleh thitung sebesar 6,393 dan ttabel sebesar 2,060. Pada hasil perhitungan diperoleh thitung > ttabel yang artinya model concept sentence berbantu media video pembelajaran efektif meningkatkan kemampuan menulis karangan sederhana.

Abstract: The goals of this research are to determine the effectiveness of sentence concept model assisted media video learning on the ability of writing simple essay class students III  SDN Pandeanlamper 05 Semarang. The concept sentence model is a learning model with the giving of several keywords to be developed into a sentence, so it is expected to improve the result of simple writing skill of third grade students. This type of research is a quantitative research by using pre-experimental design group pretest-posttest. The population used is all samples of class students III in the even lesson year 2017/18 by using non probability sampling technique with saturated sampling type. This research only examines the results of writing simple essay students. The data were obtained from pretest and posttest learning and analyzed using normality test and t test. In the lesson of Bahasa Indonesian KKM set that is 70. Data research results obtained percentage of learning mastery on pretest amount 52%, while the percentage of learning mastery of posttest amount 80%. In the final analysis calculation using t test obtained tcount amount 6,393 and ttable amount 2,060. On the calculation results obtained tcount > ttable which means that the concept of sentence model assisted media video learning effective to improve the ability to write simple essay.
