Abstract


The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of Search, Solve, Create and Share learning models on students' problem solving abilities. This research is quantitative research. The population of this research is class VIII SMP 1 Mejobo Kudus academic year 2017/2018. The sample of this study is class VIII C and VIII D using cluster random sampling technique. Data collection techniques used are test methods and documentation. The data analysis technique used was the one t-test with a significance level of 5%. The results of this study were obtained; (1) students' problem solving ability using the SSCS learning model achieved individual and classical mastery learning criteria; (2) students' problem solving ability by using SSCS learning model is more effective than students' problem solving ability in the control class.
