Abstract

Mathematics is a subject that is considered difficult for students. This can be seen from the low
student learning outcomes. Therefore, it is necessary to use a problem solving-based learning
model to encourage students to stimulate students' problem solving skills in the learning process
which in turn can improve student learning outcomes. This study aims to 1) find out the differences
in students' mathematics learning outcomes between students who use the assisted Problem Based
Learning (PBL) model with conventional models; 2) knowing the mathematics learning outcomes of
students using prezi-based Problem Based Learning (PBL) models with high activity better than
conventional learning models with high activity; 3) knowing there is a correlation between student
learning activities in prezi-assisted Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning toward student learning
outcomes. This study includes quasi-experimental research. The population in this study were eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 3 Mranggen in the academic year 2017/2018. The research sample is class VIII G, VIII H using cluster random sampling technique. Data collection methods used in this study are documentation, observation and tests. From the results of the above analysis shows: (1) the two-party t test obtained is 6.2133> 2.0010 means that there are differences in students 'mathematics learning outcomes using PBL assisted learning models prezi and students' mathematics learning outcomes using conventional learning models. (2) from one-party t test obtained that is 6.2819> 1.7 means that the PBL assisted learning model prezi with high learning activities is better than conventional learning models with high activity towards mathematics learning outcomes. (3) from the simple linear regression test obtained that is and means that the ability of the experimental class student learning outcomes affects student learning activities. From the calculation of the experimental class obtained means that the learning activities of students contribute 42.19% to the learning outcomes. So it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between student learning activities on student learning outcomes in prezi PBL learning.
