EVALUATION OF LEARNING IMPLEMENTATION WITH KIS MODEL

Abstract


The aim of this study was to determine the readiness of the faculty of mathematics education courses in implementing the model of Creative, Innovative, Santun (KIS) and the achievement of development of teaching materials in accordance with the demands of the curriculum 2013 to prepare professional and excellent teachers. Qualitative research is used to examine the natural conditions. Data was collected by observation, interview, and documentation. The results obtained are the preparation and development of KIS model teaching materials on junior mathematics subjects appropriate to the demands of the curriculum in 2013 that is capable of preparing students to be creative, innovative. Step of development done in step by step starting from the focus group discussion activities until the implementation of learning. Achievement of KIS model implementation in the course include understanding the mathematics junior lecturer of the course for the development of teaching materials, 85% of students were able to finish junior high math problems, 90% of students were able to create ICT-based learning media to the curriculum 2013.
