Literary learning both at school and in college is recognized by many parties are still apprehensive. This happens because they are learning to memorize. Learners more memorization than creative thinking. Learners do reading skills to memorize and not reading to enhance creativity. The same thing happened on listening skills. Learners do listening skills to memorize. Therefore, the study of literature should encourage and train students to develop creativity. This is in line with the nature of literature. One of the properties of literature is given freedom in thinking that is characteristic of creative thinking. Creativity development can be achieved by strengthening literacy, the ability to ask, and the ability to write.
