Abstract


Central Bureau of Statistics Indonesia shows the number of unemployed is still relatively high. Based on data February 2011, as many as 8.12 million people with open unemployment rate (6.80 %). One cause of rising unemployment is low of entrepreneurship so that the existing resources to focus on activities in search of work not create jobs. The development of entrepreneurship will affect the rate of economic growth in the country. Indonesia is now a race against time in welcoming the implementation of the free market of Southeast Asia or ASEAN Economic Community has begun in 2015. A statement sourced from the UN states that a country will be able to establish if it has the entrepreneurs as much as 2% of the population. Mental is always upbeat and willing to take risks to decide life choice is necessary, so that our young generation is not just stand idly by when trouble finding a job. They should be able to create their own jobs, and a character like this does not appear immediately, but must be nurtured early. Therefore, entrepreneurial character that includes leadership, soft skills, and creates a work or product is needed. Entrepreneurship education is a continuum of learning in which learners who plays the younger generation accustomed to the environment in the world of entrepreneurship education continues to grow raced to observe the market opportunities and produce a product that is worth selling.
