THE ENHANCEMENT OF STUDENT LEARNING RESULT THROUGH IMPLEMENTATION OF EXPERIMENTAL METHOD WITH SNOWBALL THROWING MODEL OF MAGNETIC FORCE MATERIALS

Abstract


The purpose of this study was to know the improvement of student learning result of magnetic force material in grade V SDN Candi 02 Semarang years 2014/2015 through the implementation of experimental method with snowball throwing model. This study is expected to be useful for the development of science, add insight to the study of innovation learning process, can be used as a reference, support further research, and add to the study of science subjects research material magnetic force. The subjects were students of grade V SDN 02 Candi Semarang year 2014 / 2015. Students were 25 people, consisting of 12 male and 13 female. Method in this research is classroom action research (PTK) and conducted in two cycles. The results obtained during the implementation of the program of learning improvement, the result of cycle 1 measures the activity of 73%. At cycle 2 increased to 88.75%, while for the interests of students in the cycle 1 of 58%, in the cycle 2 of 96%. Increased activity and interests of students, followed by an increase in learning result. At pre-cycle average score of the class was 64 and the classical completeness 44%, in the cycle 1 measures the average score of the class was 66.72 with classical completeness 60%, in the cycle 2 increased to 78.88 with classical completeness reaches 88 %. Be concluded that the implementation of the experimental method with snowball throwing model can enhancing student learning result of magnetic force material grade V SDN Candi 02 Semarang year 2014/2015.
