Abstract


Globalization and the development of science and technology make competition in all aspects of human being be more complicated. But that give chances and threats in the levels of individual, organization, and country or nation simultaneously. The problems lay on someone abilities or capabilities to winning the competition and or in working together. Based on identification, the abilities in competition or accepted in working together depended on the quality of the human resources. The quality of the human resources depended on the quality of education. Education, also about education management in principle cope processes and the results. Most of us believed that qualified education result were produced or processed in right or qualified manner. If identification been done, the essence of education process and services for student. Education management must make the quality of services as the first goal and orientation. Educational services must cope subject matter, attitude and behavior of all educational personnel in giving services especially to students and stakeholders. For students and parents, the quality of educational services also cope the quality of teaching-learning situation, educational facilities, and processes and products of education. In other words, the quality of services in education will decide the quality of process and product also about education management. Everyone in giving service were influenced by his or her mind, attitude, commitment, and values. All of personnel in education need view, knowledge, and skills about education management. So, service approach may be of the crucial aspect in improving the quality of education management especially in Asia Economic Forum (AEF).
