Abstract

One of the priorities in the Kalitengah Village Mid-Term Village Development Plan (RPJMDes), Purwanegara District, Banjarnegara Regency in 2018-2024 is to develop villages into tourism villages. Kalitengah Village has abundant potential natural resources in the form of Feldspar sand. Feldspar deposits in Kalitengah Village, weathered, yellowish-white (beige) in color, form hills, the distribution forms 5 x 5 m blocks (Penny, 2015). The benefit of the natural resources cannot be felt by the community because Feldspar sand is directly sold to investors to be sent to the kramik factory in Jakarta. Various other potential commodities are cassava, papaya, banana, jackfruit and catfish which are sold without processing so that the selling value is low. In this village there is also a tourist magnet of the tomb of Mr. Dr.H. Sulistiyo, M.Pd who is an Education figure. Kalitengah Village residents do not have enough knowledge and skills to develop creative industries that support the development of tourist villages. Therefore there is a need for community empowerment efforts by providing training and assistance in the creative industry so that it can increase the sale value which in turn can improve the economy there. The solutions offered in the PPDM activities are: (1) fostering and facilitating the preparation and licensing of tourism villages, (2) the formation and entrepreneurship training of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) creative industries based on Feldspar sand, agricultural and fishery products. (3) Assistance in the making of a sale and purchase center site plan in the form of a traditional market; (4) assistance in making a site plan for a tourist transportation route. Based on the results of the dedication of this partner village development program it can be concluded: (a) Villagers, especially members of Karangtaruna, PKK and Pokdarwis are very enthusiastic in developing the Village into a tourism village. (b) the formation of the Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis) and the issuance of the Pokdarwis Decree, (c) The understanding of Pokdarwis members regarding the concept of Tourism Villages is increasing, (d) The understanding and knowledge of business group members regarding entrepreneurship science is increasing
