Abstract

The development of the digital world touches various joints of life, one of them is literature. The variety of literary works no longer stops the old forms and mediums. The emergence of social media facilitates literary expressions, including high school students, both through Facebook, Twitter, Instagram with insta-story alloys, as well as applications related to literary writing such as the presence of Wattpad. This medium of literary expression should ideally be responded to through a variety of literary material held by the formal education curriculum in high school. Therefore, it is necessary to examine the characteristics of the teaching material of literature taught in the era of delinquency. This study aims to analyze literary material in the Education Unit Level Curriculum (KTSP) and Curriculum 2013 (K13) in the digital era. The research was carried out in a qualitative descriptive manner. Data is obtained through content analysis and structured interviews. After that, data analysis is done interactively. The results showed that the literature teaching material in the KTSP and Curriculum 2013 was still centered on the subject of literary derivation, namely short stories, poems, dramas, novels, and reviews, which had not included the section on digital literature. The function of teaching literature in the KTSP and Curriculum 2013 is to make literature work as a means to achieve language skills and have not been specific to language competence and literature in the digital era.
