THE EFFECT OF PARENTS’ LEVEL OF EDUCATION ON STUDENTS’ SOCIAL INTERCOURSE ATTITUDE

Abstract


The objective of this study is to know the effect of parents level education on students’ social intercourse attitude. This study was conducted in Barru in the province of South Sulawesi in Indonesia. The participants of this study are 55 students. The data were collected using questionnaire and by observation and interview. The analysis of the data employs simple regression pattern. It reveals that the parents’ level education does not affect on the students’ social intercourse attitude. It means that whether the parents’ level education high or low, it does not give effect. This study can serve as the basis for Guidance and Counselling teachers and the vice class to give the students assistance in terms of how to behave well in the school and for the family to keep giving assistance to the students as well.
