Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Lembar Aktivitas Siswa (LAS) berbasis Multiple Representation terhadap kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa kelas X. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada siswa kelas X SMAN 9 Semarang tahun ajaran 2015/2016 dengan teknik Simple Random Sampling. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan metode dokumentasi dan metode tes. Pada analisis data akhir dengan Uji-t pihak kanan dan taraf signifikansi 5% didapat hasil  dengan   maka  yang berarti kemampuan penalaran matematis antara siswa yang menggunakan Lembar Aktivitas Siswa (LAS) berbasis Multiple Representation lebih baik dari siswa yang menggunakan Lembar  Aktivitas Siswa (LAS) konvensional. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa setelah menggunakan Lembar Aktivitas Siswa (LAS) berbasis Multiple Representation lebih baik dengan sebelum siswa yang menggunakan Lembar Aktivitas Siswa (LAS) berbasis Multiple Representation. Hal ini sesuai dengan pernyataan Amelia, dkk (2014: 5) bahwa aktivitas siswa dapat meningkatkan kemampuan penalaran matematis.

Abstract

Representation based on mathematical reasoning skills students of class X. The experiment was conducted in class X SMAN 9 Semarang academic year 2015/2016 with simple random sampling technique. This study design using pretest-posttest control group design. Methods of data collection using the method of documentation and test methods. At the final data analysis by t-test was the right and a significance level of 5% results obtained t_hitung = 1.996 with t_tabel = 1.669 then t_hitung> t_tabel meaning the ability of mathematical reasoning among students who use Sheet Activities Students (LAS) based Multiple Representation better than students Students who use Activity Sheet (LAS) conventional. The results of this study indicate that students' mathematical reasoning abilities after using Student Activity Sheet (LAS) based Multiple Representation better with before students use the Student Activity Sheet (LAS) based Multiple Representation. This is consistent with the statement of Amelia, et al (2014: 5) that the activities students can improve their mathematical reasoning abilities.
