Abstrak

Pertanyaan penelitian ini adalah bagaimana profil metakognisi mahasiswa calon guru laki-laki dengan dengan gaya kognitif field independent dalam mengidentifikasi dan mengklasifikasi masalah limit. Berdasarkan pertanyaan penelitian yang telah dikemukakan, maka tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan profil metakognisi mahasiswa calon guru laki-laki dengan dengan gaya kognitif field independent dalam mengidentifikasi dan mengklasifikasi masalah. Penelitian ini tergolong penelitian eksploratif dengan pendekatan kualitatif, dimana perilaku mahasiswa akan ditelusuri dari hasil pekerjaan tertulis lewat pemberian tugas pemecahan masalah limit, dan wawancara mendalam. Selanjutnya akan dieksplorasi secara mendalam bagaimana subjek melakukan aktivitas metakognisi. Hasil Berdasarkan uraian tentang aktivitas metakognisi mahasiswa calon guru laki-laki dengan gaya kognitif field independent telah memperlihatkan aktivitas metakognisinya yaitu dengan melibatkan keterampilan metakognisi dan pengetahuan metakognisinya.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is how the student teachers' metacognition profile men in the field independent cognitive style in identifying and classifying problems limit. Based on the research questions that have been raised, then the purpose of this study was to describe the profile of metacognition student teachers with male with field independent cognitive style in identifying and classifying problems. This research is classified as exploratory study with a qualitative approach, in which the student's behavior will be traced from the results of the written work by awarding limit problem-solving task, and in-depth interviews. Next will be explored in depth how the subject of metacognition activity. Results Based on the description of the activities of student teachers' metacognition male with field independent cognitive style has demonstrated its metacognitive activity that involves metacognition skills and his knowledge of metacognition.
