ABSTRAK

Latar belakang yang mendorong penelitian ini adalah masih ada siswa belum mencapai KKM dan kurangnya siswa dalam memahami materi ilmu pengetahuan alam, serta rendahnya keaktifan belajar yang ditunjukkan peserta didik. Hal tersebut disebabkan karena proses pembelajaran yang masih bersifat konvensional. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana keefektifan metode Fish Bowl terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas V pada mata pelajaran ilmu pengetahuan alam SD Negeri Kalipucang Kulon 01 Jepara? Tujuan yang hendak dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui keefektifan metode Fish Bowl terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas V pada mata pelajaran ilmu pengetahuan alam SD Negeri Kalipucanng Kulon 01 Jepara. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen yang termasuk dalam metode kuantitatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain True Experimental Design. Jenis yang diambil adalah Posttest-Only Control Design. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh adalah keefektifan metode Fish Bowl terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas V pada mata pelajaran ilmu pengetahuan alam SD Negeri Kalipucang Kulon 01 Jepara.

ABSTRACT

The encouraging background of this study is that there are still students who have not reached the KKM and the lack of students in understanding the natural science materials, and the low learning activeness shown by the students. This is because the learning process is still conventional.The problem in this research is how the effectiveness of Fish Bowl method on the learning outcomes of grade V students on natural science subjects SD Negeri Kalipucang Kulon 01 Jepara? The objective of this research is to know the effectiveness of Fish Bowl method on the learning outcomes of grade V students in natural science subjects SD Negeri Kalipucanng Kulon 01 Jepara. This type of research is an experiment that is included in the quantitative method. This research uses True Experimental Design design. The type taken is Posttest-Only Control Design. Based on the results of this study suggestions that can be delivered is that the model of learning Fish Bowl can be used by the teacher as an alternative in the learning process of science.
