MODEL TALKING CHIPS BERBANTU MEDIA FLASH CARDTERHADAP KEMAMPUAN PEMAHAMAN KONSEP MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS III SD

Abstract


Abstrak

Penelitian dilatarbelakangi oleh kegiatan pembelajaran yang belum menggunakan model dan media yang efektif sehingga pemahaman konsep pada mata pelajaran matematika siswa masih rendah. Penelitian bertujuan untuk menerapkan model Talking Chips berbantu media Flash card terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa kelas III SD. Jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian menggunakaIntact-Group Comparison. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas III SDN Kalicari 01 Semarang yang berjumlah 60 siswa dan sampel yang digunakan adalah semua anggota populasi. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan wawancara, tes, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas,ujihomogenitas, uji ketuntasan, dan uji banding. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data penelitian menggunakan uji ketuntasan dan uji banding dua sampel. Setelah mendapatkan perlakuan diperoleh rata-rata kelaseksperimen yaitu 85,5. Sedangkan untuk uji t dengan dk = 29 dan α = 5% diperoleh thitung = 7,59 dan ttabel = 1,69 jadi thitung > ttabel maka kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa kelas III SD mencapai KKM yaitu 70. Pada uji banding kemampuan pemahaman konsep diperoleh thitung = 4,497 dan ttabel = 2,002,  jadi thitung > ttabel maka kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa kelas III SD yang menggunakan model Talking Chips berbantu media Flash Cardlebih baik dari kelompok yang tidak menggunakan model Talking Chips berbantu media Flash Card. Disimpulkan bahwa “model pembelajaran Talking Chips berbantu media Flash Cardefektif terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa kelas III SD”.

Abstract

Research backgrounded by learning activities have not used the model and the media is effective so that the concept of understanding on the subject of mathematics students is still low. The research aims to apply the model of media-assisted Talking ChipsFlash Card the ability of understanding mathematical concepts third grade students of SD. Quantitative research with the research design using one Intact-Group Comparisondesign. The population in the study were all third grade students of SDN Kalicari 01 Semarang, amounting to 60 students and the samples used were all members of the population. The technique of collecting data using interviews, tests, and documentation. Initial data analysis techniques using normality test, homogeneity test, completeness test, and appeal test. Based on the results of the final data analysis using the test completeness and comparative test of one sample. After getting treatment obtained the average class is 85,5. As for the t test with df = 29 and α = 5% obtained tcount = 7,59 and ttable = 1,69 so tcount> ttable the ability of understanding mathematical concepts third grade students of SD reached KKM is70. In comparative tests the ability of understanding the concept obtained tcount = 4,497 and ttable = 2,002. so tcount> ttablethe ability of understanding the concept of mathematics students class III SD experimental group using the model Talking Chips assisted media Flash Card better than control group not using the model Talking Chips assisted media Falsh Card. Concluded that "model of learning Flash Card assisted media Flash Card effective to ability understanding of concept of mathematics student class III SD".
