Abstract


ABSTRAK

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya keterampilan menulis siswa kelas III di SD Negeri Sukolilo 03 Pati. Permasalahan yang diungkap dalam penelitian ini adalah apakah model pembelajaran Concept Sentence efektif terhadap keterampilan menulis karangan deskripsi? Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif, desain bentuk posttest only control group, dan data diperoleh melalui posttest soal uraian. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah siswa SD Negeri Sukolilo 03 Pati. Sampel dari kelas III dengan menggunakan teknik nonprobality sampling dengan sampling jenuh. Berdasarkan hasil analis data diperoleh ketuntasan belajar dengan rata-rata kelas kontrol 67,25 terdapat 9 siswa tidak tuntas dan kelas yang diberi perlakuan model concept sentence memperoleh rata-rata kelas kontrol 81,00 terdapat 2 siswa tidak tuntas. Hasil analisis akhir perhitungan menggunakan uji t diperoleh jika 𝛼 = 0,05 dan db= (N1+ N2) – 2 = (20+20) – 2 = 38diperoleh ttabel = 1,669dan thitung=3,603. Dari data penelitian diperoleh thitung> ttabel (Ho ditolak), sehingga diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa model pembelajaran concept sentence efektif terhadap keterampilan menulis karangan deskripsi siswa kelas III SD Negeri Sukolilo 03 Pati.

ABSTRACT

This research is motivated by the low writing skill of third grade students at SD Negeri Sukolilo 03 Pati. The problems revealed in this research is whether the Concept Sentence learning model is effective against the writing skill of the description? This type of research is quantitative, the design of posttest only control group form, and data obtained through posttest description problem. The population in this research is elementary school students Sukolilo 03 Pati. Samples from class III using nonprobality sampling technique with saturated sampling. Based on the result of data analysts obtained mastery learning with the average control class 67,25 there are 9 students not complete and classes that are treated by concept sentence model get the average control class 81,00 there are 2 student unfinished. The result of final calculation analysis using t test is obtained if α = 0,05 and db = (N1 + N2) - 2 = (20 + 20) - 2 = 38 obtained ttable = 1,669 and tct = 3,603. From the research data obtained tct> ttable (Ho rejected), so it can be concluded that the conceptual learning model is effective to the writing skill of the description of third grade students of SD Negeri Sukolilo 03 Pati.
