ABSTRAK

Latar belakang yang mendorong penelitian ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA). Hal tersebut disebabkan kurangnya pembelajaran yang efektif dalam mengoptimalkan kemampuan siswa. Hasil analisis data normalitas tahap awal pretest diperoleh L0 = 0,129<Ltabel= 0,190 maka H0 diterima dan data berasal dari distribusi normal. Begitu pula dengan hasil analisis data normalitas tahap akhir posttest diperoleh L0 = 0,140<Ltabel= 0,190. Serta diperoleh N-Gain sebesar 0,51 yang berarti terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar siswa yang sedang.  Kesimpulannya bahwa dengan menggunakan strategi card sort terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar IPA  materi sumber-sumber energi siswa kelas II SDN Brumbungan Semarang.

ABSTRACT

The encouraging background of this research is the low learning outcomes of Natural Science (IPA). This is due to the lack of effective learning in optimizing the ability of students. The result of pretest early stage normality data is obtained L0 = 0,129 <Ltabel = 0,190 then H0 is received and data comes from normal distribution. Similarly, the result of posttest end normality data analysis obtained L0 = 0,140 <Ltabel = 0,190. And obtained N-Gain of 0.51 which means there is an increase in student learning outcomes are. The conclusion that by using card sorting strategy there is an increase of science learning outcome of material of energy resources of second grade students of SDN Brumbungan Semarang.
