ABSTRAK

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan model Inquiry untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menentukan jaring-jaring bangun ruang sederhana siswa kelas V SDN Geritan Pati tahun 2016/2017. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatifeksperimen. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan selama 3 pertemuan, dimana setiap pertemuan selama 70 menit.Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan observasi,wawancara, dan tes.Dengan desain Pre Experimental Design yang berbentuk One Group Pretest-Posttest Design.Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah siswa kelas V SDN GeritanPati yang akan diberikan pretest dan mendapatkan perlakuan kemudian mendapatkan posttest. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaanmodel Inquiry efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menentukan jaring-jaring bangun ruang sederhana siswa kelas V SDN Geritan Pati tahun 2016/2017.

ABSTRACT

The purpose of  the research is to find out the effectiveness of the inquiry model to improve the ability of determining nets of simple geometry on the fifth grade students of  SDN Geritan Pati in academic year 2016/2017. The method of the study that the reseacher uses in this study is experimental quantitative . The reseach was conducted for three meetings, where each meeting was 70 minutes. Data collection techniques in this research used observation, interviews and test. With pre experimental design which the form is one group pretest-posttes design. The sample who uses in this research are the fifth grade students of  SDN Geritan Pati  who will be given pretest and given post test treatment later. As the result showed that the use of inquiry model effective to improve the ability of determining nets of simple geometry on the fifth grade students of SDN Geritan Pati in academic year 2016/2017.
