Abstrak :

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya mengoptimalkan kedua belah otak kanan dan otak kiri siswa dalam belajar. Tujuan yang dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk  mengetahui keefaktifan model Mind Mapping terhadap hasil belajar kognitif siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS kelas V SDN Kalicari 02 Semarang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah one group pretest-posttes. hasil analis data pretest yang dilakukan peneliti didapatkan data rata-rata kelas 62,69 terdapat 18 siswa tidak tuntas atau belum mencapai KKM pembelajaran yang besarnya 75 dari 26 siswa. Kemudian kelas diberi perlakuan yaitu pembelajaran IPS dengan dengan model Mind Mapping. Hasil belajar yang diperoleh siswa setelah adanya perlakuan (nilai post test) menunjukkan bahwa kelas V memperoleh rata-rata 82,88 dengan siswa yang tuntas 24 dari 26 siswa mampu mencapai KKM yaitu sebesar 75.Pada analisis akhir perhitungan menggunakan uji t diperoleh jika 𝛼 = 0,05 dan db=N-1=26-1=25 diperoleh ttabel = 2,060 dan thitung=4,880. Jika thitung> ttabel, maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima, sehingga rata-rata hasil belajar posttest lebih besar dari pretest. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil pembelajaran menggunakan Mind Mapping efektif.

Abstract:

This research is based on the lack of optimizing both right brain and left brain of students in learning. The purpose of this research is to know the effectiveness of Mind Mapping model on students' cognitive learning outcomes in IPS class V SDN Kalicari 02 Semarang. This type of research is quantitative. The research design used is one group pretest-posttest. The result of pretest data analyst conducted by the researcher got the average data of class 62,69 there were 18 students not complete or not yet reaching KKM learning which amount 75 of 26 student. Then the class is given the treatment of IPS learning with the Mind Mapping model. The result of learning obtained by students after the treatment (posttest value) showed that class V got the average of 82,88 with complete student 24 from 26 students able to reach KKM that is equal to 75. In final analysis calculation using t test is obtained if α = 0,05 and db = N-1 = 26-1 = 25 obtained ttable = 2,060 and tcount = 4,880. If tcount>ttable, then Ho is rejected and Ha accepted, so the average of posttest learning outcomes is greater than pretest. It can be concluded that the learning result using Mind Mapping is effective.
