Abstrak

Latar belakang yang mendasari penelitian ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS, hal ini disebabkan karena siswa malas membaca materi pelajaran, pasif dalam pembelajaran, kurang adanya inovasi dalam kegiatan pembelajaran sehingga terkesan monoton. Pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media kartu pintar adalah salah satu solusi untuk dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar.Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah apakah media kartu pintar efektif terhadap hasil belajar IPS kelas V siswa SDN Pandeanlamper 03 Semarang? Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keefektifan media kartu pintar terhadap hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas V SDN Pandeanlamper 03 Semarang. Penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dalam bentuk True Experimental Design dengan desain Posttest Only Control Design. Untuk menguji hipotesis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis uji t. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SDN Pandeanlamper 03 Semarang dengan jumlah 58 siswa. Sampel yang diambil adalah 29 siswa kelas VB dengan menggunakan teknik Probability Sampling berbentuk Cluster Sampling. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh melalui tes. Berdasarkan hasil analisis hipotesis menggunakan uji t dengan taraf signifikan 𝛼 = 0,05 dengan thitung = 3,910  dan ttabel = 2,045. Karena thitung> ttabel yaitu 3,910 > 2,045 sehingga Ha diterima. Media kartu pintar dapat dikatakan efektif apabila presentase ketuntasan belajar klasikal memperoleh presentase ≥ 85%.  Berdasarkan hasil analisis data yang telah dilakukan, rata-rata nilai posstest kelas eksperimen sebesar  93,1%. Sedangkan kelas kontrol memperoleh rata-rata 79,3%.  Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa media kartu pintar efektif terhadap hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas V SDN Pandeanlamper 03 Semarang. Dari hasil penelitian ini saran yang dapat peneliti sampaikan adalah media kartu pintar dapat digunakan sebagai salah satu alternatif guru dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Khususnya IPS, agar dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

The underlying background of this research is the low learning outcomes of students in the subjects of social studies, this is because students are lazy to read the subject matter, passive in learning, lack of innovation in learning activities so that impressed monoton. Learning by using the smart card media is one solution to improve learning outcomes. The formulation of the problem in this research is whether the smart card media is effective against the learning outcomes IPS class V students SDN Pandeanlamper 03 Semarang? This study aims to describe the effectiveness of smart card media on the learning outcomes of IPS students of class V SDN Pandeanlamper 03 Semarang. The research used is quantitative research in the form of True Experimental Design with Posttest Only Control Design design. To test the hypothesis in this study using t test analysis. The research population is all students of class V SDN Pandeanlamper 03 Semarang with the number of 58 students. The samples taken were 29 students of VB class by using Probability Sampling technique in the form of Cluster Sampling. The data in this study was obtained through the test. Based on result of hypothesis analysis using t test with significant level α = 0,05 with tcount = 3,910 and ttable = 2,045. Because thitung> ttable is 3.910> 2.045 so Ha is accepted. Smart card media can be said to be effective if the percentage of complete learning classical gain percentage ≥ 85%. Based on the result of data analysis that has been done, the average of post experiment class grade is 93,1%. While the control class obtained an average of 79.3%. Then it can be concluded that the smart card media effective on the results of learning IPS students of class V SDN Pandeanlamper 03 Semarang. From the results of this study suggestions that researchers can convey is a smart card media can be used as an alternative teacher in learning activities. Especially IPS, in order to improve student learning outcomes.
