Abstrak

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh siswa kurang termotivasi dalam pembelajaran matematika,  hal itu dibuktikan dengan nilai UTS siswa yang masih dalam taraf cukup. Sehingga mengakibatkan 40 % siswa belum mencapai KKM. Maka diperlukan inovasi berupa pembelajaran menggunakan Pendekatan Open Ended. Tujuannya untuk mengetahui efektif atau tidaknya Pendekatan Open Ended Berbantu Reinforcement terhadap hasil belajar matematika kelas III SDN Rejosari 03 Semarang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen yang termasuk dalam metode kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas III SDN Rejosari 03 Semarang. Sampel yang diambil yaitu siswa kelas III A dan III B.Berdasarkan hasil analisis data penelitian, dapat dikatakan thitung 2,066>ttabel 2,016pada uji t dua pihak.Jadi dapat disimpulkan penggunaan Pendekatan Open Ended Berbantu Reinforcement efektifterhadap hasil belajar matematika kelas III SDN Rejosari 03 Semarang.

Abstract

The background of the study was the problem that the students have less motivation in learning mathematics. It can be proven by seeing the result of students’ daily tasks which in standard adequate. So, the 40% students not yet reach the KKM. It is needed the inovation, It was the learning using Open Ended Approach. The objectives of the study was to find out and to analyze whether or not there is an effectiveness of using Open Ended Approach Helped Reinforcement toward the mathematics’ score of third grade students of SDN 03 Rejosari. This research was experiment research which belong to kuantitatif method. The population was the third grade students of SDN Rejosari 03 Semarang.The sample was the III A students and III B students. There were III A was control group and III B was experiment group. Based on the result of research data analysis, it can be concluded that t-value 2,066> t-table 2,016 on the t-test both 2 classes. So, it can be concluded that using Open Ended Approach Helped Reinforcement was effective toward the mathematics’ learning result of third grade students of SDN 03 Rejosari.
