Abstrak

Latar belakang penelitian ini yaitu kurang maksimalnya penggunaan model pembelajaran pada mata pelajaran matematika, khususnya pada materi pecahan kelas 5. Hal ini terjadi karena guru kurang memahami karakter dari masing-masing peserta didik, sehingga berpengaruh pada hasil belajar siswa dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Tujuan menggunakan model pembelajaran RME (realistic mathematic education) untuk mengetahui adakah pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran RME (realistic mathematic education)terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Peneliti menggunakan rancangan penelitian eksperimen, dengan desain penelitian yaitu true eksperimental desaign. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua siswa kelas 5. Model RME (realistic mathematic education)sangat berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa serta dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Hal itu membuktikan adanya pengaruh yang signifikan antara Model RME (realistic mathematic education) terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas 5 SD N ngesrep 01 Semarang.

Abstrac

The background of this research is less maximal use of learning model in mathematics subject, specially in class 5 fractional material. This happened because teacher do not understand the character of each learner, so that influence to result of student learning in learning activity. The purpose of using RME (realistic mathematic education) model to know whether there is influence of using RME (realistic mathematic education) model to student learning result. Researcher use experimental research design, with research design that is true experimental desaign. The population in this study is all the 5th grade students. The RME (realistic mathematic education) model is very influential on student learning outcomes and can improve student learning outcomes. It proves that there is a significant influence between the RME (realistic mathematic education) model on the results of the 5th grade students of elementary school ngesrep 01 Semarang.
