Abstract

In fact still a few teachers who implement a variety of teaching models and it often cause teachers dominate the teaching so that the students only listen to and record without doing many activities, so they have quickly saturated and less eager. The problem is whether there is a significant difference between the students who received the teaching of cooperative learning model NHT types with students who did not receive the lessons using the cooperative learning model NHT types?  The purpose of which will be reached in this research is to know the effectiveness of cooperative learning model NHT types against the results of learning Mathematics grade 4 students in cognitive watcher.This experiment research with the design of the quasi experimental design. The results of the analysis calculation of learning in line with the value of 4,652 thitung. The value of the distribution of t with the security council = 15 and opportunities 1-α or t0,95 obtained ttabel of 1,753. So thitung greater than ttabel so H0 rejected. This means that the ability of the class experiments exceed KKM 75,Cooperative Learning Model NHT types of grade 4 students of SDN 03 Kendaldoyong more effective than conventional learning, proven with learning in line with the classical class learning results of the experiment better than learning in line with the classical control classes, namely class experiment 94 percent and control class of 69%, There are differences in the average learning results between the students who received the teaching of cooperative learning model NHT types with students who do not have proven NHT teaching models with test results comparison of the ability of the class experiments and control by using the t test one party (right) obtained thitung party of 0,536. The value of the distribution of t with the security council = 30 and opportunity1-α or t0,95 obtained ttabel of 0,531. So thitung greater than ttabel so H0 rejected, it means that the average of classroom learning results of the experiment better than the control classes.
