Abstrak

Masalah yang dirumuskan dalam penelitian ini adalah apakah model pembelajaran two stay two stray dengan teknik pilah kartu efektif terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Babalan Demak. Tujuan yang hendak dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah mengetahui keefektifan model pembelajaran two stay two stray dengan teknik pilah kartu untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Babalan Demak. Jenis Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dalam bentuk True Exprimental Design dengan Design Posttest-Only Control Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah keseluruhan siswa  kelas IV SDN Babalan Demak. Sampel yang diambil adalah 25 siswa kelas eksperimen dan 21 siswa kelas kontrol dengan menggunakan teknik Cluster Random Sampling. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah Posttest-Only Control Design. Data penelitian ini diperoleh dengan teknik observasi, dokumentasi, dan tes. Hasil analisis data penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adanya peningkatan hasil belajar dari penggunaan model two stay two stray dengan teknik pilah kartu pada siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Babalan Demak. Peningkatan rata-rata hasil belajar IPA siswa pada kelas yang tidak diberi perlakuan adalah 76,75 dan nilai rata-rata kelas yang diberi perlakuan adalah 81,41. Selisih rata-rata kenaikannya sebesar 4,66. Hal tersebut diperkuat dengan hasil perhitungan thitung =2,56 selanjutnya dibandingkan dengan ttabel  = 2,015 dengan dk = 44 pada taraf signifikan α = 5%. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa thitung > ttabel yaitu 2,56 > 2,015. Oleh karena itu dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran two stay two stray dengan teknik pilah kartu efektif terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Babalan Demak.

Abstract

The problem formulated in this research is whether the two stay two stray learning model with effective card sorting technique to the science learning outcomes of fourth grade students of SD Negeri Babalan Demak. The objective of this research is to know the effectiveness of two stay two stray learning model with divide card technique to improve science learning outcomes of fourth grade students of SD Negeri Babalan Demak. This type of research is quantitative research in the form of True Exprimental Design with Posttest-Only Design Design. The population in this research is the entire fourth grade students of SDN Babalan Demak. The samples were 25 students of experimental class and 21 control class students using Cluster Random Sampling technique. The research design used is Posttest-Only Control Design. The data of this research were obtained by observation, documentation, and test. The results of data analysis showed that there is an increase in learning outcomes from the use of two stay two stray model with the technique of sorting cards in fourth grade students of SD Negeri Babalan Demak. The mean improvement of students' IPA learning outcomes in untreated classes was 76.75 and the mean grade treated was 81.41. The average difference is 4.66. This is reinforced by the result of t calculation = 2.56 further compared with ttable = 2.015 with dk = 44 at significant level α = 5%. These results show that thitung> ttable is 2.56> 2.015. Therefore, it can be concluded that the two stay two stray learning model with effective card sorting technique toward the science learning outcomes of fourth grade students of SD Negeri Babalan Demak.
