Abstrak

Hasil kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa masih rendah dan masih banyak siswa yang belum mencapai KKM sebesar 65 serta penggunaan model pembelajaran yang kurang bervariatif menjadi alasan untuk peneliti melaksanakan penelitian di kelas V SDN Srondol Kulon 01 Semarang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) nilai rata-rata kelas kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa kelas V SDN Srondol Kulon 01 Semarang mencapai 65. (2) Kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa yang diberi model pembelajaran RME lebih baik dari sebelum diberi perlakuan. (3) Ada korelasi antara karakter komunikatif dan rasa ingin tahu terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa kelas V SDN Srondol Kulon 01 Semarang. Desain penelitian menggunakan One-Group Pretest-Postttest Design dengan populasi seluruh siswa kelas V SDN Srondol Kulon 01 Semarang, dengan sampel seluruh siswa kelas VB. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan instumen tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika dan lembar observasi. Analisis data yang digunakan, analisis kuantitatif uji t satu sampel dan dua sampel serta uji korelasi ganda. Hasil perhitungan didapatkan, nilai rata-rata kelas kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa kelas V SDN Srondol Kulon 01 Semarang mencapai KKM 65 dengan  thitung  sebesar 6,294  >  ttabel sebesar  1,721 dengan presetase ketuntasan 90,9%. Kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa lebih baik dari sebelumnya dengan thitung  sebesar 5,359 > ttabel  sebesar  2,018. Ada korelasi nilai karakter komunikatif dan rasa ingin tahu terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika dengan Fhitung sebesar 546,444 > Ftabel sebesar 3,52. Jadi, dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran RME berbantu media Hapiz pada penjumlahan dan pengurangan berbagai bentuk pecahan efektif terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa kelas V SDN Srondol Kulon 01 Semarang.

Abstract

The result of problem solving of student mathematics problem is still low and there are still many students who have not reached KKM as much as 65 and the use of less varied learning model becomes the reason for researcher to conduct research in class V SDN Srondol Kulon 01 Semarang. This study aims to find out (1) the average grade of class math problem solving skills of grade V SDN Srondol Kulon 01 Semarang reaches 65. (2) The ability of problem solving mathematics students who are given RME learning model better than before being treated. (3) There is correlation between communicative character and curiosity to solve the problem of mathematics problem of grade V SDN Srondol Kulon 01 Semarang. Research design using One-Group Pretest-Postttest Design with population of all students of class V SDN Srondol Kulon 01 Semarang, with sample of all students of VB class. The data collection instrument used by the instument tests the mathematical problem-solving abilities and the observation sheets. Analysis of data used, quantitative analysis of one sample t test and two samples and multiple correlation test. The calculation results obtained, the average grade of class math problem solving skills of grade V SDN Srondol Kulon 01 Semarang achieve KKM 65 with t count of 6.294> ttable of 1.721 with 90.9% complete presetase. The student's mathematical problem solving ability is better than before with tcount of 5.359> ttable of 2.018. There is correlation value of communicative character and curiosity to the ability of problem solving mathematics with Fcount equal to 546,444> Ftable equal to 3,52. So, it can be concluded that the learning model of RME Hapiz media aid on the addition and reduction of various forms of effective fractions to the problem-solving skills of grade V students SDN Srondol Kulon 01 Semarang.
