Abstrak

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi Permasalahan pembelajaran di kelas III SD Negeri 1 Selakambang Purbalingga yaitu kurangnya pemahaman siswa tentang mata pelajaran IPA khusunya pada materi ciri-ciri dan kebutuhan makhluk hidup, hasil belajar siswa rendah, belum diterapkannya model pembelajaran. Hal itu terbukti pada saat diadakan ulangan harian tentang materi ciri-ciri dan kebutuhan makhluk hidup lebih rendah dari pada pokok bahasan lain pada mata pelajaran IPA dan hasil belajar siswa masih banyak yang belum mencapai KKM dengan nilai KKM adalah 65. Upaya yang dilakukan peneliti untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas III yaitu dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Learning Cycle. Model pembelajaran Learning Cycle (pembalajaran barsiklus) yaitu model pembelajaran yang berpusat pada siswa (Student Centered) dan guru hanya berperan sebagai mitifator dan fasilitator. Desain penelitian menggunakan True Experimental Designs bentuk Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas III SD Negeri 1 Selakambang sebagai kelas Eksperimen dan SD Negeri 3 Selakambang sebagai kelas kontrol Tahun Ajaran 2016/2017. Data hasil belajar siswa kelas eksperimen maupun siswa kelas kontrol berdasarkan hasil tes pilihan ganda diperoleh nilai rata-rata pretest kelas kontrol sebesar 66 dan kelas eksperimen sebesar 63. Kemudian niali posttest kelas kontrol sebesar 67 dan kelas eksperimen sebesar 76. Dari data hasil posttest pilihan ganda kelas kontrol dan eksperimen kemudian nilai dianalisis dengan uji-t dan diperoleh nilai thitung sebesar 2,113 dan ttabel sebesar 2,002 berarti nilai thitung > ttabel dengan demikian H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima berarti model pembelajaran Learning Cycle efektif terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas III SD N 1 Selakambang Purbalingga. Kemudian hasil analisis ketuntasan belajar siswa kelas kontrol dan eksperimen diperoleh ketuntasan belajar individu  kelas kontrol sebesar 56% dan ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 57%, sedangkan kelas eksperimen hasil analisis ketuntasan belajar siswa diperoleh ketuntasan belajar individu  kelas eksperimen sebesar 90% dan ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 90%.

Abstrak

This research is motivated by learning problems in third grade SD Negeri 1 Selakambang Purbalingga which is lack of students understanding about science subjects especially on the material characteristics and needs of living creatures, low student learning outcomes, and applied learning model yet. This is evident when the daily re-examination of the material characteristics and needs of living creatures lower than other subjects on science subjects and student learning outcomes are still many who have not reached the standart minimum criteria with the value is 65. Efforts made by researchers to improve the result of student learning of the third grade that is by applying Learning Cycle learning model. Learning Cycle learning model (bariklus learning) is student-centered learning model (Student Centered) and teacher only acts as a miterator and facilitator. Design research using True Experimental Designs form Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The population of this research is all third grade students of SD Negeri 1 Selakambang as experiment class and SD Negeri 3 Selakambang as control class of academic year 2016/2017. The result data of the experimental class students and the control class students based on the result of the multiple choice test obtained the average value of pretest of control class is 66 and the experiment class is 63. Then the control class posttest is 67 and the experimental class is 76. From the data of posttest of multiple choice Control class and experiment then the value is analyzed with ttest and obtained tcount value of 2.113 and ttable of 2.002 means the value of tcount> ttable thus H0 rejected and Ha accepted means of learning model Learning Cycle effective toward science learning outcomes grade 3 SD N 1 Selakambang Purbalingga. Then the result of complete analysis of student control and experimental class obtained learning comprehension of individual class of control equal to 56%  and classical completeness equal to 57%, while experimental class result of student's learning mastery analysis obtained 90% experiment class individual experiment and 90% classical completeness.
