Abstrak

Latar belakang yang mendorong penelitian ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar keterampilan menulis deskripsi dan kurangnya partisipasi siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Hal tersebut disebabkan kurangnya kreativitas guru dalam menggunakan metode pembelajaran yang mengajak siswa ikut berpartisipasi. Permasalahan yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini adalah apakah penggunaan metode karya wisata efektif terhadap hasil belajar keterampilan menulis deskripsi di sekitar sekolah kelas II SD Negeri Talun 01 Pati? Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui keefektifan penggunaan metode karya wisata terhadap hasil belajar Bahasa Indonesia kelas II SD Negeri Talun 01 Pati dilihat pada hasil belajar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain Pretest-Posttest Control Group. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa SD Negeri Talun 01 Pati Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017. Sampel yang diambil adalah 23 siswa kelas II A sebagai kelas kontrol dan 23 siswa kelas II B sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh melalui tes, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Perolehan ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa dalam kelas eksperimen yaitu dari jumlah 23 siswa yang mencapai tuntas belajar yaitu 22 siswa dengan presentase 95,652%  dengan nilai ratarata 84,869. Sementara kelas kontrol dari jumlah 23 siswa yang mencapai tuntas belajar yaitu 18 siswa dengan presentase 78,260% . Sedangkan hasil analisis uji t dengan thitung = 5,008 dan ttabel 1,678 maka thitung > ttabel sehingga ho ditolak dan ha diterima, artinya ada perbedaan hasil belajar siswa menggunakan metode karya wisata dengan hasil belajar siswa menggunakan metode konvensional. Dari analisis di atas dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode karya wisata efektif terhadap hasil belajar Bahasa Indonesia II SD Negeri Talun 01 Pati. Diharapkan penelitian ini dapat digunakan sebagai salah satu alternatif guru dalam mengajar.

Abstract

The encouraging background of this study is the low learning outcomes of writing description skills and the lack of student participation in the learning process. This is due to the lack of creativity of teachers in using learning methods that invite students to participate. The problem studied in this research is whether the use of effective tourist work methods to the learning outcomes of writing description skills around the second grade of SD Negeri Talun 01 Pati? The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of the use of tourism work methods to the results of learning Indonesian class II State Elementary School Talun 01 Pati seen on the results of learning. The type of this research is experimental research using quantitative approach with PretestPosttest Control Group design. The research population is all students of SD Negeri Talun 01 Pati of Lesson Year 2016/2017. Samples taken were 23 students of class II A as control class and 23 students of class II B as experiment class by using simple random sampling technique. The data in this study was obtained through tests, documentation, and interviews. Obtained completeness of student learning outcomes in the experimental class that is from the number of 23 students who complete the study is 22 students with a percentage of 95.652% with an average value of 84.869. While the control class from the number of 23 students who complete the study is 18 students with a percentage of 78.260%. While the result of t test analysis with tcount = 5,008 and tcable 1.678 then tcount> ttable so ho rejected and ha accepted, it means there are differences in student learning outcomes using the method of tourism work with student learning outcomes using conventional methods. From the above analysis it can be concluded that the method of tourism work effectively against the learning outcome of Indonesian II SD Negeri Talun 01 Pati. It is hoped that this research can be used as an alternative teacher in teaching.
