Abstract


Abstrak

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya kemampuan siswa dalam menulis karangan narasi. Hal tersebut disebabkan pembelajaran yang monoton dengan penggunaan media yang kurang bervariasi dalam mengoptimalkan kemampuan dan motivasi siswa.Jenis Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dalam bentuk Pre Experimental Design dengan desain One Group PretestPosttest Design. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa SD N Jiken 05 Blora tahun pelajaran 2016/2017. Sampel yang diambil adalah 20 siswa kelas IV dengan menggunakan teknik Non Probability Sampling yang merupakan sampling jenuh. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh melalui observasi dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data penelitian setelah mendapat perlakuan deangan menggunakan media puzzle gambar seri diperoleh 19 siswa tuntas dengan presentase 95% dan 1 siswa yang belum tuntas dengan presentase 5%. Hal ini berarti ketuntasan belajar siswa kelas IV SD N Jiken 05 Blora telah mencapai ketuntasan. Uji t yang diperoleh thitung > ttabel (4,480 > 2,093) maka Ha diterima. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan media puzzle gambar seri efektif terhadap kemampuan menulis karangan narasi siswa kelas IV semester 2 SD N Jiken 05 Blora.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of ability of students in writing narrative essay. This is due to the monotonous learning with the use of media that is less varied in optimizing the ability and motivation of students. Type This research is quantitative research in the form of Pre Experimental Design with the design of One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The study population was all students of SD N Jiken 05 Blora in the academic year 2016/2017. Samples taken are 20 students of class IV by using technique of Non Probability Sampling which is saturated sampling. The data in this research is obtained through observation and documentation. Based on the results of analysis of research data after getting deangan treatment using puzzle media drawing drawing obtained 19 students complete with 95% percentage and 1 student who have not completed with percentage 5%. This means that the completeness of the fourth grade students of SD N Jiken 05 Blora has reached completeness. Test t obtained t count> ttable (4.480> 2.093) then Ha accepted. So that it can be concluded media puzzle drawing series effective against the ability to write essay writing narration of students of grade IV semester 2 SD N Jiken 05 Blora.
