Abstract


The purpose of this research is to describe interpersonal ability of student on physics class X lesson of science SMA N11 Semarang. Implementation of research coducted is qualitative descrptive approach. Design the research used is case study. The subject of this research is physics teacher and X class student of MIA in SMA Negeri 11 Semarang. The object of this reseach is the process of learning activity of physics subject of simple harmonic vibration consisting of verbal dan non verbal activity. Data collection technique used are observations and interviews.

The result show that the applied physics learning is able to increase interpersonal ability of X class student by fulfilling teh achievment indicator. Indicator of achievment are (1) teh ability of grammar in a way to formulate a definition of the term physich; (2) ability to understand discourse by giving idea/idea of a problem; (3) sociolinguistic ability by giving an explanation of the image/graph into the prase sentence; (4) strategicability by making predictions on the relationship between physics concepts.
