This study aims to determine the influence of practicum learning methods to the ability of student collaboration on the subject of the Black principle in calor and temperature material in class XI SMA Negeri 3 Demak. The research design was quasi experiment in the form of Posttest-Only Control Design. The population is all class XI MIA in SMA Negeri 3 Demak. The sample in this research is the students of class XI MIA 2 as the experimental class with practicum method and XI MIA 3 as the control class with discussion method. The data collection is done by observation, test and documentation. The result of this research shows that learning method of practicum affected on the ability of cooperation of SMA Negeri 3 Demak students. The average value of students cooperative ability of the experimental class is higher than the average value of control class. The post test value of experimental class is also higher than the value of control class.
