This study aims to describe the role of universities in developing a rebung-based creative economy in Banyumeneng Village. The background of this study is the magnitude of the village's local potential in the form of rebungs, which have not been maximally empowered to improve the welfare of the community. This is important to study in order to find out how much the role of universities in empowering the local potential of the village through the development of creative economy to improve the welfare of the community. In this study descriptive-documentative method is used, which describes the results of the team's dedication to the improvement experienced by the people of Banyumeneng Village. Data was collected using descriptive-documentative techniques. The results of this study indicate that there is an increase in the quality and quantity of rural communities as a result of team service. Thus it can be concluded that universities play an important role in the development of rebung-based creative economy in Banyumeneng Village.
