Abstract
One of the most well-known carbohydrate sources in Indonesia is a tuber. Some areas produce it with various types such as cassava, sweet potatoes, taro, and others. Tamanrejo Village in Limbangan Subdistrict Kendal Regency has the potential of tuber processed into various foods. The farmers, mostly women, face some obstacles such as the quality of processed products with a low shelf life, a simple packaging system, product innovation, and less extensive marketing. This community service activity aims to develop and improve the quality of the processed tuber produced by the women farmer group in Tamanrejo village, Limbangan, Kendal. A series of activities have been carried out ranging from counseling, training, to evaluation. The women farmer group succeeded in developing the types of processed tuber food such as tuber sticks, various flavored tuber chips, tuber flour, tuber onde-onde and tuber donut. Meanwhile, the process uses a spinner to extend shelf life. Marketing expansion is carried out through online marketing training such as Tokopedia, Facebook, and Instagram.
